Learning Labs
We believe in giving young people opportunities to learn by doing. Experiential learning labs are the primary modality in which the Civic Lab equips young people with the skills for civic leadership. These labs range in duration from a couple of days to a few weeks, deepening participants' skills to engage in the civic space. Here's a sample of what we have in the works already. To engage young artists/activists from across the DMV to bring their voice to the civic conversation by developing creative campaigns, public art exhibitions, publications, or other forms of media that connect the arts to social justice issues.
